Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the in-house details for event business from assigned target markets. The role is responsible for managing the guest and the guest experience, ensuring that the guest’s event flawlessly proceeds. They must establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with clients through effective, accurate, timely, and reliable communication and action.

- Work to manage inventory through proper selective selling guidelines and strive to maximize ancillary spend
- Transform sales into flawlessly executed events, managing them from initial inquiry to event, itself
- Maintain strong relationship with all departments to make sure communication is seamless.
- Generate Banquet Event Orders and Group Resumes to communicate to all of the appropriate departments according to the prescribed standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all functions and booking details are checked prior to conversation with client, guaranteeing all details are in agreement with client’s requests as well as resort standards.
- Assist and/or facilitate client site/planning visits
- Make dining, tee times and spa and activity reservations for guests or direct to those who can
- Keep all signage for conference groups current ( on doors prior to meeting time)
- Conduct an event space walk thru prior to meeting/event start time to ensure details are set to clients expectations
- Welcome clients enthusiastically when they arrive and review event schedule for updates that may need to be made
- Check with group leader at least daily while they are on property making sure needs are met
- Post charges to group master and work with accounts receivable to reconcile the billing in a timely manner.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and making suggestions or recommendations regarding changes which would positively affect operations.
